The Evolving Fego Story

Based on a concept started in South Africa in 1996, we opened our first Fego Caffe in the UK in early 2003 and since then have opened a further 3 restaurants with a further 3 to open in 2009.

Just like the unique rich and fragrant coffee we serve Fego Caffé offers the perfect blend of a contemporary restaurant and a casual eating atmosphere offering freshly prepared quality food from our extensive menu.

Innovative and successful, the Fego Caffé brand is continually expanding, locally and in South Africa where Fego began. Reasonably priced and accessible, our Fego Caffé stores boast stylish continental décor where customers can enjoy a respite from their busy day.

The Fego Caffé concept works because it stays current. Without deviating from the original model to always serve the perfect espresso based coffees and quality freshly prepared food, we are continually evolving to stay ahead of the game. As such we regularly update our menus.

Our success in the UK is due in part to a formula that offers freshly prepared generous helpings in a full service environment; and all this at a reasonable price. This concept is relatively unique in the fast-paced fast food environment of the U.K. where meals are either pre-made, self service offerings at the cheaper end of the market, or expensive sit down service.
